Foyle Film Festival - Official Selection

Oct 27th, 2016

We are beyond proud to announce that “Suicide Hotline” has been named an official competitor in the Foyle Film Festival’s annual Light In Motion (LIM) Awards.

The Foyle Film Festival is one of only a handful of international festivals with Oscar® affiliation and BAFTA and BIFA recognition. Recipients of the LIM Award qualify for consideration in the Short Films category of the Academy Awards® without needing the standard theatrical run.

Needless to say, we’re quite honoured!

We're so proud to announce that "Suicide Hotline" is an official selection for the BAFTA Qualifying 14th London Short Film Festival, Cutting Edge International Film Festival, London Film Club: Film Festival, as well as the Macabre Faire Film Festival in New York.

Our short has also been named one of the top ten finalists at the 2016 One Shot Movie Competition.

It's a huge honour to be playing at such prestigious festivals and we can't wait for audiences to finally see our film.

Thank you to everyone involved. We'll be posting more details regarding all Festivals soon!

Modern Romance

Sept 29th, 2016

This weekend we completed principal photography on our third and final short of 2016: Love Hate Date.

Our new film, a subversive take on modern dating, stars the fantastic Phoebe Batteson-Brown, and should be completed in early 2017.

As ever, we want to thank our small but incredibly hardworking cast and crew, as well as the dozens of friends and family who volunteered their time to be extras in our little short.

More updates soon!

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”

Sept 15th, 2016

This past weekend we filmed all the exterior scenes for our epic experimental short film.

The shoot went incredibly well, and, despite the less than desirable conditions, we managed to capture some gorgeous footage and fantastic performances…

Massive thanks, as ever, go out to our incredibly talented and hardworking crew – who not only worked incredibly long and grueling hours, through the pouring rain, but did it all with good humor, consummate professionalism, and, somehow, a smile.

We now only have one shoot date left for The Dot before wrapping principal photography. As we move into this final stretch, please do continue to check back here for updates on our progress.

A Matter Of Perspective

June 5th, 2016

This Thursday was our second shoot day for The Dot. This was a much smaller affair in every sense. One shot. One location. One very talented crew.

Special thanks to Phi, Oli and especially to our phenomenally talented Art Department duo - Alex and Jess - who consistently keep raising the bar and constantly crushing expectations!

More soon!

Day One. Scene One.

March 15th, 2016

On Sunday, March 13th we shot the first scenes for The Only Thing That Exists Is The Dot. The shoot was a phenomenal success thanks to our incredibly talented cast and crew, who put in so much time and hard work.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all again for patience and support over these past few months, as we spent time in pre-production developing this project further.

We’re now all set to shoot the remaining scenes in rapid succession, so expect to hear a lot more from us soon :)

Kickstarter Goal Surpassed!

Kickstarter Goal Surpassed!

April 26th, 2015

Our Kickstarter campaign has finished, and has been an enormous success!

This campaign has seen us featured on Film Fervour (the NYC based podcast), receive a donation from Dr. Rick Strassman, the genius author of groundbreaking text “DMT: The Spirit Molecule”, and get a special mention and offer from anomalistic psychologist Dr. David Luke to screen the final film at Breaking Convention 2015, the multidisciplinary conference on psychedelic consciousness.

Not only that, we are now in collaboration with the incredible cinematic mystic, Mr Julian Hand, and International Masa Awards Winner & Ivor Novello nominated composer, Lorenzo Piggici.

As if that wasn’t enough, you guys pledged way over our goal, taking us soaring past the finish line, and for that, we are truly grateful. Every last penny and cent will be absorbed in to expressing this strange and beautiful vision in the very wildest way.

All that’s left now is to say that you believed, and thank you for opening your own hearts and minds to this project. This is your film as much as it ours, and we will do you proud!!

Now we leave you with a quote from the inimitable Terence McKenna, for if you were, or ever are, in any doubt about following the yearnings of your sweet souls…

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”

With Love,

The Only Thing That Exists Is The Dot
